Hitachi / Google / Mopub / Bodygram

Bryan is the CEO of DAI Labs, a company that helps Japanese companies leverage AI to transform data into tangible insights. Bryan has deep experience in many aspects of the technology, business, having worked as a software engineer, product manager, AI engineering manager, and co-founder of the company that was successfully sold to Twitter in 2013.

At Google, Bryan was focused as a Product Manager implementing Google’s mapping technology for enterprise customers and managing the roadmap and development of Google’s general purpose login system. Learning more about the advertising business, Bryan co-founded Mopub and launched the world’s first programmatic advertising platform for smartphones. This was at a time when smartphone use was rapidly increasing. 3 years later, Mopub was sold to Twitter in one of the most successful outings in the advertising technology space.

After Mopub, Bryan returned to his engineering roots, working at Mirrorcle and Bodygram. At Bodygram, Bryan became the AI team leader, managing a team of AI engineers and synthetic data artists and training several state-of-the-art AI systems to measure bodies and estimate avatars from smartphone selfie photos.
Seeing the desire of Japanese companies to experiment with the latest AI technologies to improve business processes and launch new products, Bryan co-founded DAI Labs as a Tokyo-based AI consulting business. DAI Labs is already seeing great demand from Japanese companies experimenting with the latest AI technologies to improve efficiency and maximize revenue.
